Rugged, In-line Ultrasonic Flow Meters are a Proven Catch
October 16, 2006
The latest addition to Hedland's flow meter line is its HTTF Ultrasonic Transit Time Flow Meters. As a reliable solution for machine tool coolant lines and other industrial processes where contaminants can cause inaccurate readings, this series is proven to be the "reel" thing in innovation.
The non-invasive meters provide easy and low cost installation by clamping on the outside of existing pipe systems ranging in size from ½" to 2". The meters can be used with carbon steel and stainless steel pipes, and copper and plastic tubing with liquid temperatures from 0 °F to 185 °F (-20 °C to +85 °C). The enclosure is weather proof for indoor or outdoor mounting and is available with or without a rate and totalizer display. Remote mount transducers are available for pipe sizes from ½" (12 mm) to 100" (2540 mm). The system is designed to replace mechanical flow meters in applications where liquid conditions tend to damage or impede mechanical flow meter operation.
The HTTF series provides a 4-20mA output and a simulated turbine meter or TTL-pulse frequency, allowing direct interface to data collection systems. UltraLink™, a Windows® compatible software utility, is available for customer configuration and in-field calibration.
Hedland has been manufacturing flow measurement solutions for over 35 years. The HTTF series are proven solutions to improve productivity, reduced maintenance costs and protect your critical investments. This new line is one to get hooked on.
