Special Flow Scales
Liquid - Special Scales
|
As a service to our customers, Hedland will provide special scales for Hedland Liquid Flow Meters. These special scales can be an important service to flow meter customers. Special scales can include metric units, changes in specific gravity, conversion rates and other units. Special conversions can be very helpful. An xxample of a special conversion scale could be a mixing pump where the customer desires 'pound per hour' rather than GPM. Other special scales include temperature corrections and pressure correction.

Air/Gas - Standard Multipressure Scales
|
The Hedland Pneumatic Flow Meter is offered with a unique Multi-pressure Flow Scale as standard. This scale is vertically graduated in Standard Cubic Feet/Minute (SCFM) or Liters/Second (LPS). It also features a horizontally graduated scale calibrated to indicate flow rates at various pressure levels (PSI) from 40 to 130 PSI.
The Hedland Pneumatic Flow Meter is also offered with optional multi-pressure or single-pressure special flow scales for air and various gases. These special scales can be calibrated for alternate specific gravity, units of measurement, other operating pressure ranges and/or temperatures.
NOTE: SCFM (Standard Cubic Feet/Minute) = 1 CFM @ 100 PSI @ 70°F
